Colonie Chabad will host a free lecture, “Heroes and Hostages,” at Colonie Chabad, 401 Loudon Rd., Loudonville, on Tuesday, June 17, at 6 p.m. It is open to the community.
“Join us for a compelling class that brings to life three dramatic stories of Jews who were kidnapped, imprisoned, or sold into slavery. Discover the extraordinary courage of the captives, the unwavering solidarity of the communities who fought for their freedom, and how these stories can help shape our perspective on an all too painful issue,” said Rabbi Mordechai Rubin, co director of Colonie Chabad.
