Colonie Chabad schedules YID Talks; Four to share their ideas

Colonie Chabad hosts its fifth annual YID Talks program on June 9, featuring short presentations by local Jewish speakers.

ALBANY–Colonie Chabad, 401 Loudon Rd., Loudonville, will host YID Talks — Jewish ideas worth sharing! at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 9. The program is open to the community.

According to Rabbi Mordechai Rubin, codirector of Colonie Chabad, the program, now in its 5th year, is modeled on TED talks – short presentations designed to share an individual’s focused ideas, expertise and insights.

Local Jewish presenters this year include Dr. Bob Wishnoff, behavioral health consultant; Ben Sosnovsky, Siena College student; Robyn Morrison, connector and catalyst (MORR Strategy); and

Rabbi Yisroel Rubin, director of the Capital Chabad Centers and rosh yeshiva of the Maimonides Hebrew Day School, will be the guest scholar.
