Instead of Ted Talks I attended Yid Talks at the Loudonville/Colonie Jewish Center -the series of inspiring community- focused, Ted style presentations. They are designed to bring “Jewish ideas worth sharing” to the broader public. Last nights speakers were local community members (ranging from authors and Holocaust survivors to medical professionals and educators ) who shared their personal stories, insights and perspectives rooted in Jewish thought.
