TROY– Congregation Berith Sholom of Troy Religious School opens on Sunday, Sept. 27. School hours for families that don’t want to attend a morning class are from 12:30– 2:30p.m.
Anyone interested in learning about classes is encouraged to contact Jack Mintzer, Jewish Life coordinator, at JewishLife@berithsholomtroy.org. Mintzer serves as a contact for a variety of Jewish educational, cultural and community activities at the congregation and has 25 years of experience working with congregations.
Congregation Berith Sholom is a Reform synagogue located at 167 Third St,Troy. Founded in 1866, the congregation describes itself as a caring, warm, open and diverse community. According to administrators its mission centers on using the teachings of Judaism to inspire meaningful lives, strengthen community connections and encourage action in the wider world.
