The 20th annual “Spa for the Body and Soul for Jewish Women” was held at Shabbos House in Albany in March. It was jointly sponsored by area Chabad Jewish Women Circles, and featured speaker Sara Bluming of Maryland.
The program honored a spectrum of what organizers view as communal “women of courage.” These included Simi Leifer (Amidah), Lilah Weisberg (Family), Alyla Goldman (Act of Giving), Rochel Rubin (Jewish Education), Laura Weisblatt (Amidah), Sharon Mosden (Community), Haley Kaflowitz (Jewish Identity), Sara Bluming (featured speaker), Lyndsi Holmes-Wickert (Perseverance) and Dee Levy and Deb Zamer (both of Amidah).
