Older adults across the Capital Region need rides to the doctor, to religious services and to the grocery store, and JFS is asking for help.
Jewish Family Services of Northeastern New York is recruiting volunteer drivers for the program that gets older neighbors where they need to go. The organization puts it simply: do a mitzvah, make a new friend and bring a smile.
If you have spare time and want to help, JFS will walk you through what is involved.
