CLIFTON PARK – Congregation Beth Shalom held a chocolate seder before the holiday.

According to organizers, the seder, perhaps not as nutritious as a real holiday seder, was definitely delicious.

According to organiers, congregants and some of their children and grandchildren enjoyed learning about the holiday from the model seder. Rabbi Shara Siegfeld coordinated the program explaining all the traditions and symbolic foods. Blessings, songs and the Passover story were included. Friendly competitions for kids and adults were interspersed throughout the seder.
