At the beginning of Shavuot in May Mrs. Raizel (Laber) Blesofsky died at age 23 of an aneurysm, while in her first year of marriage and pregnant with a child. The funeral was in Queens. Raizel was the daughter of Rabbi Avraham and Mrs. Nechama Dina Laber, shluchim to Southern Rensselaer County, NY. She leaves behind her husband, R’ Yisroel Blesofsky, her parents, and a baby.
Rabbi Avraham and Nechama Laber are directors of Chabad of Southern Rensselaer County, the Greenbush Jewish Retreat, Jewish Girls Retreat and Jewish Girls Unite educational programs and experiences, both in-person on-site, as well as virtual online programs accessed around the world.
