ALBANY–Rabbi Mordechai Rubin of the Colonie Chabad Chai Center and director of the Jewish life department at Siena University, will review the life of Maimonides, doctor, scientist, philosopher and rabbi at Siena University, Monday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Roger Bacon Hall, Room 202 of the Key Auditorium.
The program is open to the community.
Maimonides, a Sephardic Jew born in 1135, is often acknowledged as one of the most prolific and influential Middle Ages Torah scholars.
Rubin’s multimedia presentation will also introduce students, others to Maimonides’ magnum opus — the Mishneh Torah.
